Alex specialises in marine and industrial projects and is Principal Engineer at leading global manufacturer and supplier of composite materials, Gurit Composite Engineering. He has been involved in a variety of marine structural engineering projects since 1991 including America’s Cup yachts, military motorboats, lifeboats and superyachts, both sail and power. His key skills are composite manufacturing and developing novel composite solutions for industrial, civil and architectural projects throughout the world.
